HedgeCoVest (www.hedgecovest.com), a UMA technology providing advisors access to alternative and traditional strategies, recently formed an alliance with SS&C Advent to power their integrated UMA solution, the SMArt Xchange (SMArtX). HedgeCoVest helps advisors access the full breadth of investment firms that we work with through a simple managed accounts platform. We are unique in our ability to combine both long only and alternative strategies in a single account, and have the added benefits of real time reporting, trading, and liquidity. Advisors can also utilize our 'Advisor as a PM' functionality which allows them to trade equities and mutual funds into the same account that they hold their SMAs. The addition of this technology allows advisors to utilize our platforms as a true end to end wealth management solution.
