Smatch was created by a couple who was tired of hearing both friends say, "Why is it so *u*%#g hard to find a good guy/girl in Melbourne?!" They decided that it was time to provide singles with new and exciting ways to meet their special someone. Smatch hosts both large singles mixers and small intimate "speed matching" events. Singles Mixers are for singles who are, "looking for a good time," or "love the thrill of the chase." Come independently or with a group of friends and you'll meet tons of other singles interested in meeting new people! Each event is a bit different, but with the same goal in mind – we help you loosen up, have a couple of drinks and have heaps of fun meeting that special someone! Speed Matching is for singles who are looking for a small, intimate, personalised way to meet like-minded singles. Speed Matching is Smatch's twist on speed dating. Instead of spending a ton of money to meet someone who is between a certain age or falls into some category, we learn about you and individually Smatch you with other singles who want the same things. We then set you up on multiple short dates where you are sure to meet that special someone. Whether you are interested in meeting new people, casual dating, or a long term relationship, Smatch is for you!
