Smith Tool and Design is a Multi-Axis production machine shop located in Talking Rock, GA. ST&D started in 1979 from humble beginnings in Dave Smith's basement. Early on Dave saw a need for producing larger quantities of precision machined components and progressed in this direction. Largely due to circumstance in the beginning and as time progressed ST&D carved out a niche in the market manufacturing the impossible: "If it can't be done, they call us".For more than 30 years, Smith Tool and Design has been supplying its customers with the finest quality CNC machined parts, components, and assemblies available. We specialize in CNC multi-axis turn/mill, CNC turning, CNC milling up to 5-axis and CNC Swiss turn. Our experienced staff serves customers in many industries including: medical, dental, cryogenics, automotive, electronics, and aerospace.
