Information Technology & Services - Sandy, Utah, United States
SmithCOR started as a holding company in 2000 for various business opportunities. The company acquired franchise retail stores, a bakery, engaged in outsourced unloading services for food distribution centers and other ventures. By 2003, limited technology was beginning to play a factor into the management of these business entities that were operated by the SmithCOR brand. SmithCOR launched the first technology platform with a homegrown time and labor management system called HourDoc.com. HourDoc became the first SAAS model TLM system on the market within North America. It quickly grew and within 6 months had over 10,000 users on the system. When SmithCOR looked at the landscape of how the product was growing, we realized that time and labor management is the foundation for all things business. The organization began to morph into providing services for companies that needed process improvements that stemmed from the act of managing the most costly aspect of the business, the workforce. From that change of direction, SmithCOR started building custom web applications, reporting integrations between databases and software programs and creating analytical tools. SmithCOR has engaged over 700 companies, which saw an increase in the way they made their businesses run more smoothly. SmithCOR's mission statement is to provide open communication and dialogue so we better understand the needs and requirements of our clients. We take pride in our team for the following reasons:Successful client engagements with Fortune companiesOur off-shore team has passed SAS70 auditsFull spectrum of project management, development, QA & support capabilityDevelopment capability spread across various platforms & frameworksPrice Waterhouse Coopers (PWC) auditedExperts in API development & interfaces
