Young entreprenuers with big name agency backgrounds and years of experience, Brad Sharp and Roy Serafin, create a new modern agency. We've got a pretty easy to listen to story. Both of the founders met each other working for a bigger brand called 1:Face back in 2014, and just started creating content and running feeds. Eventually they moved on to other projects, mostly at some of Chicago's premier advertising agencies like Leo Burnnet, Torque, The Food Group, Plan B, and so on. Brad started working on the account side while Roy was working creative. Several hundred projects later, we both decided we'd rather do this for ourselves and pick our own projects. We started thinking about how hard and expensive it is for small businesses to get high quality content like we were creating for the big guys, without going bankrupt. Next thing you know, we started working on a logo and before that was even ready we had a few clients. We figured out that we could do big shoots for smaller brands if we allowed the clients to pay a monthly retainer fee vs everything at once. We could do a few shoots or one large one and get six months of content, manage that content and grow feeds so these brands could afford to do bigger things.
