Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the facilitation of character, community, and culture amongst Asian Pacific American students, professionals and community members. MISSION:I. Character• To promote leadership development and opportunities for law students• To provide mentorship opportunities for law students• To prepare APALSA members for success as law students and as legal professionalsII. Community• To encourage involvement, participation, and service to the Asian Pacific American community• To facilitate cooperation with other minority student organizations • To engage other Asian Pacific American students and professionals on a national levelIII. Culture• To promote awareness of the historical, political, cultural, and socioeconomic significance of Asian Pacific Americans • To celebrate the success and contributions of Asian Pacific Americans • To advocate for the interests of the Asian Pacific American community
