SNH Resource Conservation & Development (RC&D) Area Council Details
The mission of the Southern New Hampshire Resource Conservation & Development (RC&D) Area Council is to promote and facilitate the development of the area's natural and human resources in a manner that benefits the economic well-being of its citizens while maintaining or improving the quality of the natural resource base of the counties of Cheshire, Hillsborough, Rockingham, Strafford, Merrimack, and Sullivan.RC&D Councils, through their partnerships with federal, state and local organizations, help communities, groups and individuals develop strategic approaches to natural resource conservation, sustainable community and economic growth, and human resource capital investment issues. RC&D Councils can provide access to a wide range of technical resources, as well as assist local groups in the development of funding strategies and location of funding sources.
