After a routine training through the woods, Ron de Ruiter had a spectacular idea. He wanted to attend the greatest, most exhausting sled dog race in the world. The Iditarod in Alaska! This race is also known as The Serum Race. It runs from Anchorage to Nome over a distance of 1150 miles where temperatures of minus 75 degrees Celsius are very common.
