Leisure, Travel & Tourism - Nashdale, New South Wales, Australia
Our gorgeous hideaway retreat, situated above 1000m elevation upon the volcanic slopes of Mt. Canobolas and adjoining the State Conservation Area, is home to the endangered Eucalyptus canobolensis (Silver-leaf Mt Canobolas Candlebark). Sunnyside Farm is also one of the longest - established farming estates in this renowned fruit and wine district and boasts views as far as the eye can see overlooking the scenic Towac Valley towards Orange and the adjacent cool climate wineries - all being just moments away.Upon this select five-acre heritage precinct, Snowgums Retreat, within the Sunnyside Farm is presently undergoing native revegetation to restore habitat and reconnect with our pristine eco-environment.It is hoped this reconnecting to surrounding ecological corridors will enable a flourishing of snowgums, the populations of tiny native bird and the rare-ish black wattle our precinct is known to contain.
