SOAL has been working on advancing IR technology and other innovations for the military and defense since 2006. We have a number of SBIRs and have commercialized our innovative technology leading to sales revenue. SOAL's Micro Power Generators:The US Army warfighter carries between 96 and 140 lbs of weight for a 72 hours mission. Part of that load is 16 lbs of batteries. We would like to provide the solider with the new capability of producing their own power on the battlefield - autonomously - without user intervention. We have been developing a lightweight power generator for the US DoD, including the US Army and SOCOM. Our generator will provide 6-10 W of power for 24 hours, continuously, while only weighing between 1-2 kg (about 3 lbs). As part of our IP strategy, we have submitted a provisional patent.
