SOAR Baltimore (Student Opportunities & Academic Resources) is a non-profit organization that aims to advance the academic opportunities and achievements of Baltimore city students. The goal of SOAR is to share students' potential with a community of advocates greater than just teachers and parents. SOAR is a multi-faceted project that teaches students how to market their strengths from an early age - with the guidance of their teachers - and provides educational necessities and opportunities through a crowdfunding platform. SOAR helps bring resources to low-income students that they struggle to secure in their home environment.
