Sobena Offshore Inc. Sdn Bhd (SOI) started production in 1986 as one of the pioneer threading companies in Malaysia strategically situated in Kemaman Supply Base. SOI provides threading of carbon steel and chrome tubular of all API threads and other premium connections such as FOX, JFEBEAR, JFELION, JFETIGER, TENARIS HYDRIL, NSCT, GB3P, Hunting Interlock and TMK-ULTRA. While catering to the needs of the oil and gas industry, SOI is dedicated and committed to excellence services and maintaining high standards in health, safety and environment.Well trained, dedicate and loyal staff have been our greater assets. After 19 years in existence, SOI is again poised to take the Company to greater heights by expanding to a new market and has set up a second plant in Asian Supply Base, Labuan, Sabah which is located in East Malaysia (2005). Today, we are confident to succeed as our customers namely Petronas Carigali, ExxonMobil, Talisman Malaysia Ltd, Sarawak Shell Berhad, Murphy, Petrofac, Schlumberger, Tenaris and Marubeni-Itochu Tubulars Asia are confirming to use our services constantly.
