In September of 2014, Sober Nexus was acquired by Effective Media Group, an established online marketing consulting company. Based out of Southern California, Effective Media Group took the Sober Nexus concept and grew it into a recovery resource empire under the name American Sobriety. In doing so, Effective Media Group intends to uphold the honesty and integrity that Sober Nexus has become known for, accepting only flat monthly fees from sober living homes for standard service. Sober Nexus still never accepts placement fees of any kind, so our website visitors can be assured that they are receiving the best information about recovery available on the internet and aren't being sold to the highest bidder. As we work to improve our web rankings and offer more services to our clients, we are also working to offer a broader range of information to the recovery community.
