The Social Skills Training Institute (SSTI) is the organisation that publishes the Secret Agent Society Program, making it available worldwide to children, parents and professionals. SSTI is a subsidiary of the not-for-profit Cooperative Research Centre for Living with Autism Spectrum Disorders (Autism CRC) which is a world-first research collaboration. We are committed to providing communities with the training, support and resources they need to deliver high quality, evidence-based child and family interventions. The SECRET AGENT SOCIETY program is an evidence-based social skills program for 8 to 12-year-old children with social and emotional challenges such as Autism . The SAS program captivates children with its espionage-themed games and activities and eye-catching resources. While kids are having fun developing 'secret agent' skills, they learn how to recognise and manage their own feelings, cope with change, detect other people's emotions, talk to others and deal with bullying.Multiple research evaluations have demonstrated the effectiveness of SAS in improving social-emotional skills of children in clinic and school settings. One university randomised-controlled trial found 76 per cent of children with Asperger's Syndrome, who had clinically significant delays in social-emotional functioning improved to displaying these skills within the range of typically developing children (Beaumont & Sofronoff, 2009)
