Social Suicide's beautiful suits and jackets are developed on Savile Row in London and individually made in India from the finest fabrics to the highest standards. One man takes one day to make one jacket - then embroidery, printing and structural changes can more than double the tailor's commitment. No production lines, no corner cutting. Our fabrics are the finest and purest wools, silks, cottons and linens. But, our suits are much more. They are stories, fables, comments, debates; our details have reason, our fibres have morals. We blur the lines between fashion and art; between humour and candour; between love and life. A Social Suicide suit should connect on an emotional, intellectual, physical and spiritual level. Heart, mind, body and soul. In many ways, we use the suit as a canvas or sculpture. From big embroidery to tiny details, everything is driven by artistic and intellectual endeavour. We also make shirts, ties, socks, jeans, overcoats and some silver-smithing; all to the same philosophy. Social Suicide is the brain and brawn-child of two age-old friends joined at the head, heart and hip and separated by nothing - Simon Waterfall and Matthew Grey (AKA Tig).
