SOCIUS PRUDENCE is a student magazine and cherishes the innate virtue of ‘learning' among students. The magazine aims to escalate the status and trait of sociological research and originality among the students. This magazine is first to provide a platform to writings of students, throughout India, penned down in a sociological fashion. The magazine celebrates the amorphous nature of sociology as a social science,hence, encourages inter-disciplinary works originating from various allied disciplines. The forte of SOCIUS PRUDENCE is to enrich the sociological student firmament. SOCIUS PRUDENCE denotes the ‘awareness of society'. The magazine is a biannual publication encouraging sociological aptitude beyond the classroom. SOCIUS PRUDENCE is a Promethean effort undertaken by the students of the department of Sociology, D.A.V. College, Chandigarh. As a magazine of students, academic aberrations in articles by the students are taken in a positive stride. The articles featuring in this magazine do not contain innuendos nor aim to be impertinent. The magazine is not for opinion formation. The intentions of the articles are starkly sociological and academic.
