Ola Mundo is a contemporary, child-centric, communication service that uses a symbol-based language to empower non-verbal children to communicate with their supportive families. Ola Mundo was initiated in January 2012 as a by-parents, for-parents project aims to answer the special communication needs of non-verbal children. The team also consists of pedagogy experts designing with the child abilities and interests in mind -- the interface, simplicity, vocabulary are carefully combined to empower children to enjoy and use the service.
