Sokoloff Arts is the 501c3 that's built Town Stages: One of the largest independently operated and women-led cultural arts spaces in New York City. We are at the forefront of a movement to build equitable access to space for the brilliant visionaries and community leaders making New York a global epicenter for transforming culture. Since its inaugural year, Town Stages has supported 600+ events, created 1,000+ local jobs, and subsidized over 5,200 hours of arts programming to the public while fostering a Creative Fellowship Program for 50+ recipients working in some of intersection of arts, media, civics, social justice, and small business entrepreneurship.By reimagining affordability, access, and equity in New York City spaces while bringing marginalized voices to the center of civic discourse on our stages and screens, Town Stages is claiming the right of Public Assembly for all people to connect, collaborate, and elevate.
