We collect new and gently used, men's, women, and children's sneakers and socks from high schools in New York City and donate them to the homeless.We envision a future in which every homeless person in New York City has a good pair of sneakers and socks to help them take the next step forward in their lives.Sole Purpose provides a comfortable pair of sneakers and socks to help prevent a variety of foot-related medical ailments and provides protection from the environment which will result in an enhanced quality of life and improved self-confidence.
