Solid Technologies LLC (SOLID), founded by four engineering students at Mississippi State University, aims to expand on and revolutionize industry with new and innovative ways to manufacture, process, and collaborate in the 21st century. Established in Fall of 2013, SOLID is just getting started. Our first project is building a prototype friction stir welder that has the potential to replace arc welders seen in small shops, hobbyist's garages, and field work.
