Solvay Indupa SAIC is an Argentina-based company primarily involved in the chemical industry. The Company specializes in the production, distribution and sale of emulsion and suspension polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resins, which are used in the construction, automotive, consumer goods, packaging and healthcare industries. It also produces such industrial chemicals as caustic soda and vinyl chloride monomer (VCM). The Company operates two production plants located in Bahia Blanca, Argentina and Santo Andre, Brazil. As of December 31, 2012, the Company owned two subsidiaries Solvay Indupa do Brasil SA and Solalban Energia SA. In addition, Solvay Argentina SA was the Company's majority shareholder.
