BIOGRAPHY Some Kind Of Fire Rose (Lisette van Zwieten & Gijs Hietkamp) started their duo in 2013. They immediately moved the audience with their poetic and honest songs. Some Kind Of Fire Rose brings heartfelt passion and joy wherever they play. At the beginning of 2014 their songs ‘Breekbaar' and ‘Clouds' have been rewarded during the The Hague International Singer-Songwriter (THISS) Awards. ‘Breekbaar' wins the award for Best Non-English Language Song 2013 and ‘Clouds' wins the award for Best Performance Video by a Duo/Group 2013. Singer Gijs is also rewarded with Critics' Choice Songwriter of the Year 2013. Their songs ‘Breekbaar' and ‘Clouds' have furthermore been nominated for Fans' Choice Song of the Year 2013 and for Best Recorded Performance (Guitar/Voice). Some Kind Of Fire Rose has been performing at Parkpop, Gentse Feesten, Magneet Festival, Kaderock, Acoustic Alley and many other venues and living rooms.
