SOMOS Academy is an online marketplace that connects people who want to teach what they know with people who want to learn from them, and venue owners that want to profit from underused assets. It is not an online course platform, the connection is made online (just like airbnb and such) but the service (course) takes place offline, in-person. We want people to find the best course near them to enrich their education. Also, we believe anyone is an expert at something and we want to make it easy for them to teach and share their knowledge. We envision a future where your neighbourhood is your campus.
