The affiliate board and staff at Community Foundation Sonoma County work with nonprofits on their legacy gift programs and provide resources and tools for philanthropists to create plans that will make an impact in our community and become part of their family's legacy.More specifically, SVF's goal is:-- To increase the number of families and individuals who make a legacy pledge to philanthropic causes; and,-- To sustain and encourage an increased quality of life in Sonoma Valley.The Sonoma Valley Fund (SVF) works to strengthen its community through philanthropy and legacy giving. It is the bridge between donors and the nonprofit organizations they support, ensuring the prudent investment of funds and the achievement of legacy gift objectives. The SVF Grants Committee manages local grant programs that directly benefit Sonoma Valley residents.
