We are SOPHIA GLOBAL TRADING CORPORATION. We are the legacy and the rebirth of Queen-S International Trading Company, Inc. – built on the latter's strong foundations and worldwide network in the steel and construction industries, but remade to better serve the fast-changing needs of the globalized market. QUEEN-S INTERNATIONAL TRADING COMPANY, INC. (QUEEN-S) was founded in 2007 by the late Ms. Sofia Dela Cruz Tundag after almost two decades of experience in the tin can manufacturing industry. It began as a local trading company for tinplate, tinplate scrap, copper wires, easy-open-ends, and other can manufacturing requirements. After establishing itself as the leading supplier of the local tin can manufacturing industry, Queen-S then reached out to the international market and formed cooperation with major principals from the USA, Brazil, Europe, India, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and China. Its wide-ranging network and strong partnerships enabled Queen-S to provide its customers with premium quality materials at competitive prices.With its continuous success, the company then ventured into other products and industries. Queen-S became a leading indentor and distributor not only of Electrolytic Tinplate and Tin-Free Steel, but also of other flat steel products such as Galvanized Coils, Galvalume Coils, Prepainted Coils, etc. It then added long steel products, semi-finished steel products, industrial machineries, and construction products to its offerings. Queen-S also became an active member and officer of several renowned organizations: Treasurer / Board of Director of the Philippine Iron & Steel Institute (PISI), Philippine National Committee Secretary for the Southeast Asia Iron & Steel Institute, and member of the Tin Can Manufacturers' Association of the Philippines, Inc.
