We are Sophya Acosta Lighting Design Studio. A team of three stage lighting designers based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. We design lighting for opera, shows, musicals and performances. Our artistic search lead us to investigate the field of Light Art, and to create pieces where light was the main core and the main element of construction.We are passionate about light in all its shapes and colours. We truly believe that light can transmit emotions and drive us different worlds. Diseñamos iluminación para obras de teatro, ópera, musicales y performances. Paralelamente a nuestra búsqueda dentro del campo de la iluminación teatral, nuestras investigaciones incluyen el campo del Light Art, realizando obras donde la luz es el eje central y fundante de la construcción.Actualmente nos encontramos trabajando en diversos proyectos de Light Art y performances lumínicas en las que investigamos los límites del streaming como nuevo lenguaje de creación. ¡Somos unos apasionados de la luz en todas sus formas y colores!
