SoupFest is a competitive soup-making contest held in Columbus, Ohio. Live performances complement the homemade soup entries in a day-long event format that raises money for local charities through The Miklós Battaglia Fund. Held at the nationally recognized Columbus Foundation, The Miklós Battaglia Fund supports community efforts related to food scarcity, social injustices, and homelessness in honor of SoupFest co-founder, Nicholas "Miklós" Battaglia. Opened after Nick's passing in November of 2019. Profits from all SoupFest events are donated to The Miklós Battaglia Fund for later dispersal by its managing council, which includes the SoupFest LLC ownership group.
