Near the idyllic village of Cowichan Bay, you'll find the seven grass courts of the South Cowichan Lawn Tennis Club. As the name implies, we are a tennis club that plays on grass. What's the difference? Well, for starters, tennis played on grass is easier on the knees and it's much cooler than playing on hardcourts. Grass tennis here also has historic roots, as we are one of the oldest lawn tennis clubs in the world and the oldest club in Canada still playing on grass.
