South Melbourne District Sports Club (SMDSC) is the largest community sports club in Albert Park, providing opportunities to play footy, cricket and athletics for the City of Port Phillip and beyond, from Southbank to St Kilda. SMDSC have more than a thousand registered members from kinder to seniors, along with their families. Our sporting sections include senior men's, women's, junior and Auskick Australian Rules football, junior cricket (boys and girls), Milo cricket, little athletics and senior athletics.Our goal is to provide opportunities for all members of our community to play sport, and pursue health, personal development, and community engagement. In doing so we hope to nurture and enhance the development of sporting skills and to promote attitudes of good sportsmanship, temperament, and cooperation with others.
