Southasian Children's Cinema Forum (SACCF) is a cross-border network of film industry, film festival, film education professionals and organisations committed to nurturing a dynamic children's film industry in the region.\\SACCF promotes artistically diverse, culturally rooted, socially relevant and high quality films for children and young adults in Southasia. It aims to support the production & development of children's films and filmmaking talent; facilitate strong distribution & exhibition avenues through local, regional and transnational collaborations; create platforms for exchange of information, ideas and skills; and influence government policy and industry practice to enable a vibrant children's film culture.\\SACCF represents the interests of everyone creating, distributing and screening locally produced films for young audiences in Southasia.\\\AREAS OF ENGAGEMENT\\Networking:\Create virtual and on-ground platforms to catalyse exchange of information, ideas & skills among children's film, education and development professionals\\Development & Production:\Support production of locally produced, relevant and high quality films \Encourage international and regional co-production of children's films Develop children's film projects and filmmaking talent\\Distribution & Marketing:\Strengthen domestic and international sales and promotional avenues for Southasian children's films\Build alternative domestic and regional distribution platforms\\Audience Development:\Strengthen screenings and festivals for children's films in Southasia\Facilitate inclusion of cinema in classrooms and curriculum\\Research & Advocacy:\Conduct research on children's media landscape and archive content\Campaign to influence government policy and industry practice
