Southeast New Hampshire (SENH) Habitat for Humanity is a 501 (C) (3) nonprofit organization located in Portsmouth, NH. Since 1994, we/ve proudly served Strafford and Rockingham Counties. We are committed to our mission of eliminating poverty housing in Southeast NH by bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Habitat homes are so much more than just walls and a roof. They represent hope to hard-working, local families in need and represent stability, security, and peace of mind. To date, we have rehabilitated or built 31 homes. Our largest completed project is a four-unit community in Farmington, NH. These builds have placed more than 120 "local" people in quality, affordable and safe housing. Our vision for the future is a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live and housing poverty and homelessness are eliminated. Habitat believes that the home is the key catalyst in helping to permanently break the cycle of poverty. We work in partnership with corporations, like-minded community groups, faith-based organizations, and individual volunteers.
