The Southern California PIano Academy is a community music school providing private and group music education to children and adults, beginning to advanced and college preparatory. Meeting the national and California Standards of Musicianship for Children. Member MTNA, CAPMT. Our school is open to music students of all ages and levels, in both private and small group piano lessons. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of music education, tailoring instruction to meet the goals and aspirations of each individual student. Our curriculum includes: Early Childhood Music Education (ages 5-6) (Chords, Theory, Reading, Songs and Solfegge) Beginning and Advanced Private and Group Piano Lessons in: Classical Studies Jazz Piano Keyboard Blues & pop Composition Theory and Harmony Applied Harmony and Arranging for Songwriters Our North Hollywood Studio is located in the North Hollywood Arts District of Los Angeles, servings all members of the Burbank, Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Valley Village and surrounding communities. We also offer advanced international private jazz piano instruction by Skype. Our faculty celebrates a combined 90 years teaching experience and has helped guide hundreds of musicians and musical families on two continents in 4 languages. All of our instructors hold advanced degrees, are employed professionally in the arts, and are award winning in their profession, bringing the expertise to their students.
