The Conferences and Events Department at Southern Maine Community College not only serves the College but the greater community by providing daily high quality seamless event support. With our wide array of conference rooms, computer labs, lecture halls, classrooms, dining facilities, and overnight guest accommodations, SMCC has the ideal location for all of your business. SMCC includes a professional experienced event coordinator with every event regardless of size to take care of all of your logistical needs. While assisting the cultivation of business in Maine through our Business and Community Partnership department, as well as our student staff; we afford students the opportunity to engage in acts of hospitality, restaurant management as well as culinary arts. We are often thought of as only a beautiful wedding venue. We not only host fabulous seaside weddings here but do so much more, including: trainings and clinics, board meetings and legal hearings, baby and wedding showers, bar mitzvahs, holiday parties, memorial services and summer housing.
