Our mission is to spread technology to diverse groups in order to promote innovation and inclusion to all no matter their level of knowledge, privilege, or limitations.SouthernHacks is an effort to spread technology, creation, and innovation to a crowd that may not be as well exposed in larger cities or hubs. We believe that everyone should be able to experiment and learn in a place where all can have access to the same resources. There is not another hackathon within 3 hours of our location. Our hope is to unleash the hidden talents and skills that reside in our small town college, and welcome those who want to explore.SouthernHacks is hosted by Women in Technology (WIT) Campus at Georgia Southern University.
