Southside Montessori was established in 1979 by a committed group of parents each sharing a strong belief in offering their children a quality Montessori education. Since its creation we have been educating individuals in the traditions of Montessori learning and igniting children's intellectual independence. All the while nurturing each child's curious wonder, helping them to develop a strong moral compass and learning about helping others. We are a non-denominational, co-educational, independent school that is strongly grounded in the educational methods of Dr Maria Montessori. We implement the curriculum set by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA), with whom the school is fully accredited and registered as are all our teachers, we are also a member of Montessori Australia.We offer a fully integrated educational experience from preparatory to primary years, to accommodate learners between the ages of 4 to 12 years.
