The SouthWest Communities Resource Centre (SWCRC) was created from the community's need for a local support centre for the neighbours in south Calgary. Since the opening of its doors in 2003, the SWCRC has guided and supported all ages and stages by offering programs and services that helps our neighbours stay strong and become resilient when faced with adversity. Thousands of individuals, and families alike, have found support at the SWCRC through: - Positive parenting programs - Family support and education - Mental health support - Access to basic needsWe provide these services through our many community partnerships with other local organizations whose values align with our own and through monetary donations from generous donors who believe in the SWCRC's mission.Together we strengthen existing community resources by working collaboratively to share resources, build collective partnerships and deepen the impact of our work. We instill hope today and build community bridges for a bright tomorrow.
