Southwest Virginia 4-H Educational Center Details
The Southwest Virginia 4-H Educational Center is a 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit providing unique cultural and education experiences for youth and adults throughout the region and beyond. Located in Washington County, just outside of Abingdon town limits, the SWVA 4-H Center has been serving its 13-county community at its historic 79 acre facility since 1960. Programming includes after-school Appalachian music classes for youth, adult adventure programs through Road Scholars, and 4-H Junior and Cloverbud camps. In addition to programming, the 4-H Center is available for rental to groups for business or private gatherings and functions like annual meetings, family reunions, weddings, and retreats. The 4-H Center is proud to be an American Camp Association accredited organization.
