Prior to 2012, Michael Bradley Johnson was fabricating for other professionals (automobile, major commercial real estate developments) since the age of 16 years old. After gaining experience in the art and creative communities in New York City, he took his experience back to Hollywood after taking a job to customize metal pieces via fabrication and his very own unique color plating which derives from a process that not even the largest jewelry manufactures in the world use, nor know how to. Chances are, if you have purchased a jewelry piece from a major retail outlet such as Nordstroms, Neiman Marcus, or Barneys, Michael Bradley with Sovereign Arts has added his unique and powerful approach to modify the piece into what it is today.In addition to taking on major commercial retails, Michael has also worked with major recording artists, motion picture studios, and some of the highest grossing creative artists on the planet. Due to the growth of Sovereign Arts and Metal Finishing, Michael started offering professional training to experiences manufactures in order to facilitate the capacity of additional business."I was on a subway in New York City starting across at a piece of red metal hanging from the railing across the railway. The light hit the red piece at such an angle that it made it appear to be a red diamond; a blood diamond. The context in this case pertains to the very hard working individuals whom sweat blood and tears in order to care for their families by fabricating and building these tremendous structures; pieces of art. And that is when this incredible vision came rushing through me. This is the moment I knew I was meant to do this; not only for myself, but for others that understand and appreciate unique and beautiful finishes to all metals and art.
