Sowda Details
Sowda is Bangladesh's first auction-based e-commerce platform. We tested our operations in 2020 and started our full operation in 2021. The response is phenomenal. In the first 5 months of our operation, we have sold products worth 3,00,00,000 taka. Hundreds of thousands of people have already signed up on Sowda. Everything we sell on our platform is based on auction. Customers have to have at least 5000 points (equivalent of 500 BTD) to participate a bid. Customers can place any amount of bid, and if he/she wins the bid, there will be 48 hours to make the full payment. So if anyone has not enough money to buy something, he/she still can buy that and have 48 hours to pay the price. This is one of our most loving features by the customers.
