SPAAT’s mission is to empower socially and economically disadvantaged high school student-athletes by providing them with academic, community and athletic support services in an effort to increase the number of student-athletes that are ready for college, careers and life after sports. SPAAT currently serves over 250 students and athletes in Oakland and has a proven track record of success with 94% of our senior student athletes graduating from high school and 84% enrolling at an institution of higher education over the past three years.
