Space Horizon aims to make Space available for everybody. By being involved in New Space movements like suborbital space tourism, private planetary space exploration missions and being involved in the new planetary research activities in the Netherlands, Space Horizon wants to be an active partner in new initiatives and wants to provide sincere and to-the point advice for future space projects. Space Horizon offers a complete package of being involved in technical, organisational and outreach part of new space projects. Through enthousiasm, technical expertise and dedicated work, Space Horizon can become a serious partner in your efforts to open up Space further! Space Horizon was founded by Arno Wielders, MSc in September 2004. Arno Wielders has worked in space projects for Dutch Space, TNO, ESA and NASA.Arno Wielders (1973) got his masters degree in Physics in 1997 from the Free University of Amsterdam. After graduation he was hired by the Leiden University to work at Dutch Space in the Very Large Telescope Interferometer Delay Line project. In 2002 he received his TWAIO (two year PhD like research) certificate and started as a research scientist at the Space Department of TNO TPD in Delft. At TNO TPD he was heavily involved in the Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI) project recently launched by NASA. He currently divides his time in leading Space Horizon and working at the European Space Technology and Research Centre (ESTEC) of the European Space Agency.
