Aviation & Aerospace - Orlando, Florida, United States
We are involved with STEM education and STEM learning research. Our company will be launching the mobile (ISS) International Space Station STEM Lab in 2016 and the mobile STEM Spaceport in 2017. Our mobile ISS STEM labs are fully equipped with 9 interactive working labs that are designed to engage students in a variety of STEM fields, such as 3D printing & rapid prototyping, electronics, propulsion, aqua/hydroponics, bio-medical, astronomy & navigation, neuroscience, molecular gastronomy, robotics, computer software/coding, space launch/flight and aerospace engineering fields. The lab is a fully climate controlled 53' trailer with 22' expandable sides that backs up to a 24' strait truck that has an Orion simulator where students will launch from Earth to the ISS, then enter the ISS STEM labs via a space tunnel connected to the 53' trailer. Each lab or activity is or will be sponsored by a major company like ANSYS, Tektronix, Mathlab, Boeing, Lockheed, NASA, DeltaMaker, including a number of participating universities. This mobile STEM lab is designed to enter smaller cities, towns and interact with the general public as well as public and private school systems. The mobile STEM Spaceports are designed to engage high demographic cities but is also enhanced by an attached ISS STEM lab. Go to www.spacetrainingadventure.com for details and bookings. We offer an educator and parent online program that assists in areas of STEM learning and resources. In addition, all students that attend our program will be entitled to an online alumni STEM education portal that will support their interests from grade school to college.
