SPACE WALKER Inc.(SW) is a new Japanese university start-up developing manned and unmanned suborbital spaceplanes. SPACE WALKER's team consists of specialist engineers who have researched winged space vehicles for over 40 years. SPACE WALKER builds on heritages of HIMES(ISAS of Ministry of Education) and HOPE-X(NAL and NASDA) to enhance WIRES of Tokyo University Of Science(TUS) / Kyushu Institute Of Technology(Kyutech).Transferring these research results and technologies, SPACE WALKER is currently developing a suborbital spaceplane in partnership agreements with TUS, JAXA, IHI Corporation, IHI Aerospace Corporation, Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. and other non-aerospace industries.
