Defense & Space - Exeter, England, United Kingdom
We're a student society at the University Exeter developed to all things related to Space. Founded in 2015 as a society dedicated to running projects to do with Space, including our award winning XRT-C radio telescope located in Caradon, we now operate with a greater focus on community outreach. From participating in events like the NASA SpaceApps COVID-19 to hosting watch parties for iconic rocket launches, there's something for everyone at Space Exe. We pride ourselves on our approach to Space and its industries from all angles, and we believe that this approach is crucial to understanding and contributing to such a fast-changing industry. Our annual conference is open to members of the public, we hope to see you at our next one. In addition, we run a number of casual social events for our members throughout the year. With events ranging from stargazing to karaoke, there's always something interesting on for our members. For more up to date information on what we do, or if you would like to contact a member of our team, please email spaceexe@groups.exeterguild.com
