An app with an interactive map that consists of Layers of information about your location. Spacetime was founded in a primary school classroom. As a teacher i wanted to "capture te moment" of 2016 en put it in a time capsule. At the time we were taking lessons in programming. We took all the steps in making an app and developed a messenger with which time and place are subject to the senders choice: send a message to a location and/or a specific moment in time. After that we discovered that it was cool to make (multimedia) messages public, for all the world to see. Now we could place informational and activating messages at (historical) plots. For this feature there were so many uses, we started ordening them in Layers. The app consists of a map with layers of messages, provided bij various organizations. Not in the least schools, because I developed 8 different courses that schools can use to turn the local environment as a treasure box of "World orientation"-lessons. And share the knowledge!Now things are really picking up speed. Noordhoff Publishers have committed to using the Spacetime platform for their lessons, UNESCO is very excited, municipal and social parties have taken interest and we are partnering up with heritage organizations (and a Zoo). There is so much happening right now, it seems impossible to compact in this textbox. Spacetime wil make learning active and fun!
