The Spain Wine School is a private organization founded in 2003 by Pancho Campo, Spain´s first Master of Wine. Since then SWS has become the oldest and most experienced WSET Approved Program Provider. The school has also trained more than 2000 professionals in over 20 countries on the Spanish wine industry. SWS also specializes in the training of wine and hospitality professionals in marketing, communications, sales and event management.Organizers of three editions of the World Conference on Climate Change and Wine featuring Al Gore and Kofi Annan as keynote speakers. SWS was also the organizer of the Winefuture conferences of Rioja and Hong Kong, featuring Robert Parker, Jancis Robinson, Michel Rolland, Francis Ford Coppola and almost 80 speakers.In 2017 SWS will be launching an online version of the Spanish Wine Experience certification course and of its Marketing and Event Management Seminar for the Hospitality & Wine Industries, working in association with The American College in Spain, an American university based in Marbella, Spain.The current activities of the Spain Wine School focus in five main areas:1. Education and training of wine professionals.2. The international promotion of the Spanish wine industry.3. Climate change and its impacts in the wine industry.4. Event management5.
