‘It Takes a Spark!' and the ‘Youth Entrepreneurs and STEAM' EDU Conference are a new experience inspiring and engaging forward thinking students, teachers and leaders in STEM/STEAM.Since 2017 over 3,045 Teachers and Students have been directly and positively impacted by their attendance at a Toowoomba, Brisbane, Melbourne or Perth Conference and 2021 will include the inaugural Tasmanian conference.The program is different to many conferences namely it is intended for both Teachers and Students to attend.The brightest educators, organisations and students who are passionate about STEAM lead a Teacher Oriented Mini-Master Class, a Student Oriented DigiDesign Mini Workshop and/or a Problem Solvers Design Challenge. These hands-on sessions are short, sharp and action packed.Outstanding keynote speakers inspire teachers and students alike bringing their unique perspective, humour and commitment to showcasing STEAM – such as Superstars of STEM Dr Kudzhai Kanhutu (Infectious diseases and telemedicine doctor), Dr Carolyn Brown (Astrophysicist and a Physics Lecturer), Dr Natasha Hurley-Walker (International Centre of Radio Astronomy Research) plus many more extraordinary people.
