As well as sectors across the entire value chain.This effort is being championed by the local government of Samar and Department of Tourism (DoT) Region 8. It is also with the endeavor of communication partner Geiser Maclang. And as well as with a community of relevant stakeholders. It is with an aim of bringing in high-value tourists. Tourists like those who cruise and travel by yacht for leisure, for example. And as well as a host of other investors in Samar.Now people are seeing Samar in a different light.But more than that, the campaign also ignites its locals' sense of identity and pride in their province.Promoting Samar's Tourist SitesThrough this exciting new endeavor, Samar is promoting its existing tourist sites.They've focused on developing what the province is most known for. These are the caves and waterfalls. Samar is proud of its clean river systems and breathtaking waterfalls. The government has allotted almost P500 million in funds. Because of the campaign, the province was able to build tourism roads, farm to market roads, and new roads. This is three years after the campaign had been launched. These roads lead to areas with high tourism potential.Not only that. With help from the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA), a plan to install lights at the famed San Juanico Bridge is now underway. This is to set to astonish travelers within the year.
