Sparsh is the annual college cultural festival of National Institute of Technology, Surat. In it's successful journey of 27 years it has become Gujarat's largest college festival. Over 25k people attended the previous edition of Sparsh covering most the colleges of South Gujarat.Sparsh has witnessed intriguing and sensational performances by national artists(KK, Vishal Dadlani, Neha Kakkar, Sachin Jigar, Sunburn).Under the title of "Countdown" we the students of SVNIT have urged to bring about a huge change in the city of Surat in association with SMC. We aim to carry out a 50 days campaign prior to SPARSH in which we will be visiting different schools, colleges and public gatherings where we will be spreading awareness to make the people of Surat and take a pledge to give up Single Use Plastic and adopt an alternate efficient method. We will be having our hoardings around the city and we will be carrying standees and banners to promote our cause of #NoSUP. What makes this year's Sparsh extraordinary is that we will be setting up the inhouse of the cultural fest with the help of waste collected from the city.
