Spatial Apps Pty Ltd was established with the objective to share the functionality and useability that can be provided by Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) – with the everyday technology user. Working with spatial technologies, you are able to ascertain context, derive meaning and therefore critically assess information by visualising data in spatial forms. GIS lets the user visualise, question, analyse, interpret and understand data to reveal relationships, patterns and trends. Our goal at Spatial Apps Pty Ltd is to create tools for responsive decision making and to give users a new way of looking at the world around us. Tackling the clutter of global news, our newest development PressAtlas aims to utilize spatial technology to provide a clear, accessible and simple way to personalise the news – responding to individual search terms and giving them a geographic context by visually placing them on a map.
